An Introduction of the Department of Environmental Engineering, NED University of Engineering & Technology (Karachi, Pakistan) and Environmental Issues of Pakistan

Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh is a visiting Professor at the Department of Geosciences in the frame of the Erasmus Mundus EMMA West project. He will report the activities of his Department and the main environmental issues of Pakistan. This report will be the starting point for discussing and comparing the activities of the two Departments, and for planning future collaboration on specific research themes and  promoting mobility opportunities for researchers and students.
